Howard Dembo brings over 30 years of architectural and master planning leadership to his role as Head of Architecture at H’Collective. His extensive portfolio includes large-scale developments in the luxury hospitality, residential, and mixed-use sectors, delivered across diverse cultural and geographic settings. Howard is known for his ability to drive complex design processes with clarity—translating ambitious visions into fully realized, high-performance environments.

Over the course of his career, he has held senior positions in internationally operating firms, where he led the design and execution of multifaceted projects throughout Africa, the Middle East, and internationally. His approach combines rigorous design thinking with a deep understanding of construction and delivery, ensuring each project is thoughtfully detailed and aligned with client goals.

At H’Collective, Howard is responsible for steering the firm’s architectural output, fostering a collaborative and detail-oriented design culture. He is deeply engaged in project oversight, creative direction, and interdisciplinary coordination, ensuring consistent quality across the studio’s work. A graduate of Wits University and a registered professional architect, Howard’s leadership continues to shape the studio’s reputation for design excellence and technical strength across all project phases.
