Nestled between white sand shores and the luminous blues of the Indian Ocean, Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi is a study in refined tropical architecture and experiential luxury.

Our design approach sought to celebrate the profound natural beauty of the site while crafting a series of highly individualized spaces—117 beach, reef, and overwater villas, each with a private pool—designed for privacy, serenity, and effortless indoor-outdoor living.

Anchoring the experience is Ithaafushi – The Private Island, a 32,000-square-meter sanctuary offering two bespoke villas and a four-bedroom residence. Designed to host up to 18 guests, it serves as a secluded enclave for meaningful gatherings and once-in-a-lifetime celebrations.
